Industrial Modern Furniture have designed, built and installed several bespoke bars and counters for customers.

These bars have ranged from a bar in a café, to a Shop Counter, through to a party bar in a private home, so, we have something for everyone!

Here is some more information that might tempt you to improve a retail or hospitality location, or maybe add a fantastic feature to your home or outdoor space.

Many of the Industrial-themed pieces of furniture, that are more and more popular these days,  were originally inspired by the chic New York apartments that were rebuilt and modernised from industrial buildings, lofts and warehouses in the 20^th Century.

These newly created living spaces were often vast with exposed brick, high ceilings and features left over from their industrial heritage, therefore required a new approach to design and manufacturing of furniture to complement these stylish spaces.

This style inspired John to design and build a bar made from wood and corrugated steel.

Bosscut Barbers in Portishead commissioned us to create a made-to-measure ‘Reception Desk’ and ‘Coffee Bar’.....the remit was based around the rustic industrial look and needed to be multi-functional in a busy space! Check out the photos below to see the fantastic finished installation, plus some other bars and counters that we have created.
